Spiced Almond & Raspberry Creme Parfait
I've been forcing myself to get more creative in the kitchen lately, especially when it comes to breakfast. Incorporating a meal that's rich in both antioxidants & healthy carbs has always been a challenge, so I decided to start taking an interest in making things like porridge & parfaits. I know, not the most exciting BUT this one is actually delicious!
As always I'm not big on measuring ingredients but just add as little or as much of each as you want. Here's what you need:
Spiced Almond Creme (bottom layer)
- 1 frozen banana
- dash of cinnamon
- almond extract
- almond milk
- 1 medjool date
Blend & add to cup or bowl
Raspberry Jelly ( top layer)
- Frozen raspberries
- chia seeds
- water
- coconut palm sugar
Blend & add second layer on top of spiced almond creme layer
Garnish with berries, groats, & chia seeds.
